LTD EDITION is a Japanese omakase sushi bar located in Seattle’s trendy Capitol Hill neighborhood. I collaborated with Home & Away Studios on the development of the brand and interior concept. LTD Edition was recently recognized as one of the top 50 restaurants in the United States by the New York Times.

NIKE SOHO is a five-floor, multi-category store in the heart of the SoHo shopping district in NYC. As a pinnacle expression of Nike’s Modern Sport retail concept, it featured an updated fixture program and personalized service zones including trials and customization. My role on the project was design lead for program fixtures and furnishings as well as several bespoke fixtures, built-ins and service destinations throughout the store.

NIKELAB is a Nike retail concept centered around premium, limited and exclusive product in a carefully-curated boutique store environment. The NikeLab team collaborated closely with a sustainability design partner to develop small-batch, custom fixtures that were functionally innovative and produced using a variety of reused and recycled materials including Nike-proprietary recycled materials. My role on the project was fixture designer for program fixtures on the initial 6-store global roll-out.

UK-based EV company ARRIVAL needed a space concept for their new design studio in Los Angeles. Working as a remote freelance designer, I collaborated with their internal brand team to create a vision for a flexible workspace with areas that could transform from workspace to showroom. Utility and tech vibes dominate the space which was primarily inspired by their own innovative microfactories.

While at Cologne-based Formlos Designstudio, I worked on a number of store design projects for CARHARTT (Now Carhartt WIP). Our team leveraged many existing construction elements to create rough-but-robust custom fixtures that embodied the urban vibe of the streetwear brand, which was still in the early days of establishing its retail presence in Europe.

Lifestyle brand INCASE wanted an elevated brand presence at fashion and lifestyle shows to showcase new product lines for bags, cases and headphones. The team at Cinco Design created a durable and modular booth that featured ample display opportunities as well as storage for their goods.

NIKE HOME OF FOOTBALL was a ground-floor takeover at Nike Berlin that celebrated the Nike Football brand and the release of Nike’s latest national team kits during the 2024 UEFA Euro Cup. Designed and executed by Sunst Studio Berlin in collaboration with Nike, I supported the Sunst Studio team with technical spatial and fixture design.

NIKE RISE is one of Nike’s newest and most-advanced global retail concepts. Through its data-driven digital experience “Sport Pulse”, Nike Rise bridges the physical and digital environment to create an immersive, hyper-localized shopping experience in a pinnacle store format. The Rise concept also features elevated, member-driven services as well as a lighter, leaner, more-sustainable fixture and materials palette. My role and responsibilities for the Nike Rise concept development included design lead and design support for floor and service fixtures as well as design and engineering consulting for the perimeter wall system.

NIKE HARAJUKU was a top-to-bottom remodel that served as a testing ground for many early ideas for the RISE concept, most notably the perimeter wall system with layered graphics and programmable lighting. My responsibilities included design consulting for the overall fixture package as well as design support for fitting rooms and service zones.

NIKE HOUSE OF INNOVATION is the pinnacle Nike flagship store experience that celebrates the technical innovation of Nike products in an immersive, digitally-connected shopping experience.  From concept development to execution, my role was design lead on program fixtures as well as select bespoke and geo-specific fixtures. I collaborated  with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams      to develop and execute new service fixtures and experiences throughout the store.    I also co-managed fixture production and installs for the pilot stores in NYC and Shanghai.

KICKS LOUNGE is a sneaker and streetwear-focused Nike store concept developed primarily as a shopping mall format. The iconic orange sneaker vault was the visual centerpiece of the store and boldly emphasized Nike’s heritage footwear silos. My role on the project was concept designer for fixtures as well as design support on the overall interior and visual concept.

For the launch of KIN, Microsoft’s social media-centric smartphone, I was a member of the concept team at Cinco Design that developed the product launch package including packaging, retail fixtures and a mobile brand experience events.

At Cinco Design, I was involved with a number of packaging design projects, primarily focused on form, structure and materials. Two examples were MICROSOFT KIN and THE JAMES BRAND, whose highly-refined and technical products provided opportunities for the exploration and inclusion of simple, natural materials that provided a premium product and brand experience.
